There comes a point when reflection can take us only so far on our own.

Sometimes we need a place to talk about what we're noticing. To hear ourselves say things out loud.
To listen to other women whose lives may look different from ours, but who recognize something in the experience.

The Founders Living Room is an invitation to do just that.

Three small, intimate online gatherings for women who have spent a long time caring, carrying, managing, and being the strong one -- and who are beginning to wonder what it might mean to live a little differently.
Why I'm Opening the Living Room
Inside the Living Room began with writing and curating.

I wanted to create a place where women could talk
honestly about the things we don't always have words
for -- exhaustion, grief, responsibility, changing relation-
ships, boundaries, identity, joy, and what happens when
the life we've been living no longer quite fits.

Those reflections eventually became something more:
Returning to Yourself Through Life's Hardest Seasons:
A Book of Reflections.
And somewhere along the way, I began wondering:

What might happen if we didn't only read and reflect privately?

What if we gathered?

Not for another class. Not because there is something about us that needs fixing.

But simply to pull up a chair with other women and have some conversations we rarely make space for.

That's what I'd like to discover.

And I'm inviting a small group of women to discover it with me.

What is the Founders Living Room?
The Founders Living Room is the first online gathering of its kind at Inside the Living Room.

We'll meet three times for 90 minutes in a small online group.

I'll gently guide our conversations using themes from "A Book of Reflections" and our Gathering Reflection Guide, but this isn't a course where I'll be standing at the front teaching you how to live your life.

It's a conversation.

There will be time to reflect, to share if you choose, to listen, and perhaps to recognize parts of yourself in the experiences of other women.

And you never have to share more than you want to.

"Sometimes simply being in the room is enough."
Everything You'll Receive
Gather Together:
Three 90-minute online Living Room gatherings:

Each gathering will offer time to slow down, reflect, and have the kinds of conversations we don't always make room for in everyday life.

I'll guide our time together while leaving plenty of room for conversation, listening, and whatever emerges within the group.

Reflect:
Your Gathering Reflection Guide:

A smaller companion to the full Book of Reflections that will follow the journey of our three gatherings.

Inside you'll find selected reflections and questions connected to each gathering, space to capture thoughts and insights, and gentle invitations to notice what may be shifting or becoming clearer for you along the way.

You can use it before we meet, while we're together, or afterward, when something from our conversation stays with you.

This is not homework. It isn't another thing to complete. It's simply a place to hold some of what you discover.

Continue:
Your digital Book of Reflections:

The larger body of work behind our gatherings - filled with reflections, questions, and invitations to explore some of the patterns and experiences that can shape our lives.

You do not need to work through the entire Book before we meet.

There is nothing to finish. It's yours to explore at your own pace and return to long after our Founders Living Room has ended.

Why "Founders"?

Because this is the first Living Room.

I have ideas about what these gatherings could eventually become, but I don't want to decide all of that before we've actually sat together.

I want to learn from the women in the room.

At the end of our time together, I'll ask what mattered to you. What surprised you. What you'd like more of. What didn't resonate. And what might make future Living Rooms even more meaningful.

So being a Founder doesn't simply mean you were here first.

It means you'll help shape what comes next.

Is There a Chair Here for You?
Perhaps you've spent years being the capable one -
the woman other people depend upon.

Perhaps life has changed, and you're trying to
understand who you are now.

Maybe you've begun setting boundaries or changing
old patterns, and some of your relationships are
changing too.

Maybe you're tired of functioning well while quietly
feeling disconnected from yourself.

Or perhaps nothing dramatic has happened at all.

You simply have a sense that something in you is ready for a different way of living.

You don't need to arrive with answers. You only need to be willing to sit with some of the questions.

A Few Things You May Be Wondering
Is this therapy or group counselling?
No. The Founders Living Room is a facilitated reflection and conversation experience. It isn't therapy, counselling, or a substitute for professional care or support.

Do I have to share personal things?
No. You decide what you'd like to share. Listening, reflecting, and simply being present are equally welcome.

Do I need to complete the "Book of Reflections"?
No. In fact, I don't want you to feel you need to. We'll use selected themes as starting points. The Book is yours to explore in whatever way feels useful to you.

What's the difference between the "Book of Reflections" and the Gathering Reflection Guide?
The Book of Reflections is the complete resource and is yours to continue exploring long after our time together. The Gathering Reflection Guide is a smaller companion created specifically for our three Living Room gatherings.

Do I need to print the Gathering Reflection Guide?
You can if you'd like to write directly in it, or simply keep a notebook nearby. I'll make it easy to use either way.

Will the gatherings be recorded?
No. Because these are personal conversations, I want the Living Room to feel private and safe for the women who choose to share.

What happens if I miss a gathering?
Because sessions won't be recorded, there won't be a replay. You can continue with the relevant section of your Gathering Reflection Guide and simply join us again at the next gathering.

Is the printed "Book of Reflections" included?
No. Your Founders Experience includes the complete digital edition. The professionally printed edition will be offered separately.
Pull Up a Chair
I've spent a lot of time wondering what Inside the Living Room could become.

BUT perhaps I don't really need to know yet.

Maybe we simply need to begin.

A few women.

Three conversations.

A willingness to listen to ourselves and one another.

And a place where, for a little while, nobody needs us to be the strong one.

If something in you recognizes that kind of place, I'd love to welcome you into the
Founders Living Room - beginning FEBRUARY 2027.

Your chair is waiting.
